Update from Colorado
October 27, 2008 – 5:01 pmI just wanted to write a quick note and say thank you to all of you that have helped with getting the items on our list. What an amazing and overwhelming response. It truly blows our minds and blesses us beyond words to feel your support.
Of course things are getting really hectic for me as I am trying to check off all the things on my long to-do list. Some things I would love for you to pray about if you would.
- Zander has a small area of concern of his incision, I will be taking him to Children’s the first of the week for them to look at it. With that pray that number one he is okay and second that it does not postpone our trip back home in less than 2 weeks.
- I would get all the administrative things done that need to be done before leaving.
- We will be returning on the plane, but we will be going standby. So please pray that the flights will have openings and we will get home as planned (I REALLY miss my husband and kids, at this point an extra day seems like forever!)
There is one thing I forgot to put on my list. If anyone has a double stroller that they don’t need any more with the really big wheels (like the jogger stroller) that also has the pivoting wheel in the front, I could really use one in Belize. We have a single jogger stroller, but the wheel in the front is stationary and with the rough roads it is really hard to turn.

PS- Okay, I feel like I just need to be honest right now. I have one more thing I would like you to pray for. Please pray for a peace in my heart. I have been having a hard time the last few weeks with fear. I have been checking to make sure that Zander is breathing like a hundred times. I am not sure if it is because Zander is coming up on the age Zeki was when he died or what. But I would really appreciate it if the Lord puts me on your heart that you would just pray for peace and trust in my heart.
