The URT takes some turns
October 16, 2009 – 1:15 amWell, this road trip is taking some turns! Jervis and Shandice flew out this morning to New York City. Jervis’ sister (who is also Shandice’s biological mom) is not expected to live much longer. I will stay here in Wisconsin and share at the church this Sunday and then drive to New York City. Please be praying for Jervis’ family, as with any death this is hard for them. Now the only thing is to pray that I can find someone to travel with me to New York, so I don’t have travel alone with the 4 younger children. Not to mention to pray that I do okay speaking, I am not really one for talking in front of large crowds! I prefer to leave that to Jervis! So I guess God is stretching me once again.
I will keep you posted on how things are going.

Hello Melissa! I continue to pray for travel mercies for you as you make your way to Wisconsin to join us on Sunday. Please know that our prayers are with Jervis’ family and we continue to wait on the Lord for His tender mercies. You will do just fine on Sunday as you prepare to speak to our church as I know the Lord will lead you. We want to thank you in advance for continuing on your journey to us given the situation with Jervis’ family and that in and of itself is a wonderful testimony to your dedication to your ministry.
