Going Home!
November 6, 2008 – 7:13 amWe are going home!!!!!!! Zander saw the doctor on Monday and has been released to go home. They gave me a little scare telling me that he had an abnormal bladder ultrasound and they thought he may have to stay for some studies. But, we saw the Urologist and he said he was okay. There are some things that we need to watch for to make sure he doesn’t start having problems, but the doctor felt good about sending him back to Belize.
So, of course I have been running around trying to accomplish my long list of things that keeps growing and my days keep passing! We will leave Saturday morning and have an overnight layover in Dallas. Then arrive into Belize Sunday around noon. I am so excited to see Jervis, I can hardly stand it. I can’t even sleep!
My parents had a little trouble at the Mexico border. They arrived there early Monday morning and the Mexico government did not like the diapers, toys or clothes. Or should I say they liked it for themselves, but not for us to keep! So to make a long story short after many hours my parents ended up taking all the stuff off the bus that they wanted to keep and drove five hours to my cousins and dropped it off there for her to store it. I was really disappointed, but relieved that we still have the ability to get it to Belize a different way. We have a team coming in March and if it all works out they will each bring a container with the items that got left. My mom was able to take out the 6-9 month clothes for Zander and put it in her suitcase. So we should be able to get by until March.
Please continue to pray for their safety as they travel through Mexico, they still have several check points where the government can give them problems. Also, pray for our safe return back to Belize and that Zander would continue to recover.
Another miracle, I was able to pay for our tickets to go back! Thank you!
