Coming home!
August 4, 2009 – 9:12 pmIt is hard to believe that we have been here in Belize for almost two years! God has done so much in that time and we are so thankful for His faithfulness. We are thankful for the encouragement that He has given us back in the states. We have met missionaries here that don’t have anyone to write home to or lift them up when they are struggling or to rejoice in their victories. We want to thank you for the strength you have given us, thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of the children here in Belize. Although our building is not yet finished and our vision has not reached its full completion, we have seen God use our lives and ministry more than we ever imagined and we thank you for the part you have played in that.
I am excited to tell you that we are going to have the opportunity to come to the States this fall to visit some of the churches that are partnering with us, as well as seeing our family, friends and ministry partners like you! Plus an added bonus of being home for Christmas!!!!
We are going to be sharing all about what God has been doing down here in Belize. We’ll also be sharing our vision, raising funds, and recruiting mission teams and staff to help with the building project which we hope to have completed by June 2010.
At this time, we would like to ask you to consider if you would be willing to do one of the following things…
1) Talk to your pastor to see if we could give a short presentation to your church (if you go to a church other than Rez).
2) Set up a time for us to come to your home to show a short DVD that we’re making, and share with you and maybe some of your friends who might be interested in learning more about our ministry.
We are looking forward to the fellowship with our family and friends, and we’d love to schedule some time to spend with you. We are so excited to be able to bring the kids home and especially for you to see Zander and Christina!
If you or your church would like to meet with us, please send us an email and just let me know that you’re interested. It’s still a few months away, so you will have plenty of time to plan ahead, but we need to start creating our schedule now, to ensure that we optimize our time while we’re in the States.
