August 18th update

We pray that you are all doing well and have enjoyed your summer! Time has passed by so fast and it seems like the months are like weeks. The kids will be starting school on September 1st, the summer sure did pass by quickly.
Zander is already one month old. We also celebrated Juni’s 4th Birthday this last week.
The baby girl that we were getting was born on August 8. The good news is that the Mom has decided to keep here. We would have loved to have her, but we feel the best place a child can be is with their birth mother. After months of mentoring her and building a relationship with her, I was able talk with her about her decision. I know she was relieved that I pushed the issue.
We are still waiting to find out about baby Zander and his surgery and we should know something in the next few weeks. He is growing so big and filling our hearts and our home with love and joy!
The building is coming along really well, we should be done with all the walls this week and then they will start on the getting things ready for the ceiling/floor. We are taking this week off because of the lack of funds. So we are praying that by next week we can start back up again.
